Roulette is a casino game where all the bets are placed against the house or the casino bank. The game of roulette works very interestingly and simply. The dealer gives out the chips to players depending on their buy in.
You can place various bets by placing your chips in different positions on the roulette table. The dealer then spins the roulette wheel in an anticlockwise direction and then spins the ball in the opposite direction. No more bets are allowed after the ball is thrown and it begins to slow. The ball eventually falls into one of the colored and numbered slots on the wheel deciding the winners and losers. The losses are collected and wins are distributed depending on the number whether it is odd or even and also on the color that has been bet on. If the final ball position matches the bet, there is a win. The payoffs off the game depend on the type pf bet made.
Strategies
There are no perfect strategies in the game of roulette. You can be wise about what bets you make depending on your wallet and also on the odds of a certain number being hit, but other than that it is purely a game of chance. However, a few things can be kept in mind, namely,
European Roulette decreases the house’s winning edge from 5.26% to 2.1%
Try to locate a table with a surrender rule. This way you loose only half the money bet when on a “0†or “00â€
Remember the option “En Prison†which provides you with another chance to spin while your bet is “in prison†(for “0â€).
