Licensed in Curacao, Casino Ventura is a newer operation that features games from 1×2 Gaming, Betsoft, Microgaming, NetEnt, Oryx Gaming and RCT Gaming.
The first thing that I noticed upon visiting Ventura is that their website almost looks like that of a land-based casino. This isn’t to take anything away from their look, though, because I think it’s a pretty clean interface. But I do wish that the games navigation was a little easier on their front page (explained later).
One very positive aspect of Casino Ventura is their light bonus wagering requirements and ability to choose what bonus you’d like to play for. You can also look forward to other occasional promotions while playing here. We’ll cover these promotions next and also discuss the loyalty program, games, banking and customer support at this casino.
Any information on promotional offers is current at the time of writing and may be out of date. More current bonus information can be found in the bonus area on this page.
Ventura gives you the ability to pick one of two bonus paths when you sign up and make a deposit. “The Cash Path” begins with a 100% match deposit bonus up to €100, with wagering requirements of only 30x the bonus. The match on this bonus obviously isn’t very big, but the 30x wagering requirements are quite acceptable. In addition to the deposit bonus, you can also claim 10% cashback on all deposited money that has been lost. Obviously no player wants to think about losing everything that they deposit, but this is still a nice way to extend the welcome bonus.
Your other choice, “The Bonus Path,” also starts you off with the 100% match bonus up to €100, with 30x wagering requirements. Every deposit after this is eligible for a 30% match bonus up to €300. Unfortunately, the wagering requirements go up too because they’re 20x the bonus + deposit amount.
You can also look forward to a few other promotions, although they’re not very significant. At the time of this writing, I see a Game of Thrones tournament (different prizes for completing feats) and a refer-a-friend bonus (€5 for every depositing friend). These promos aren’t going to line your pockets with cash, but I guess they’re at least something beyond the welcome bonus.
Ventura Casino offers a very basic comp program where you earn points for your play. Every €10 you spend on slots games earns you 1 point, while you must bet €20 in live casino games or €100 in online table games to collect a comp point. These points can be exchanged for real money, and there doesn’t appear to be any tiers that allow you to move up and obtain better bonus rates.
Upon visiting Casino Ventura, you’ll see the games bar listed more towards the bottom. These are divided into various categories like Slots, Table and Live, and you click the designated category to find what you’re looking for.
When I first chose Slots, only 20 games came up and I was shocked at how little the selection was. But then I found a bar below the games that you click to reveal everything. Although a minor complaint, I thought this was inefficient compared to most casinos, which lay out all the games as soon as you click on the category.
Once you figure this out, you’ll actually have access to a huge selection of over 650 slots. Some of the games include Avalon 2, Barbary Coast, Enchanted, Event Horizon, Game of Thrones, House of Fun, Jack Hammer, Jurassic Park, RockStar, Starburst, Twin Spin and The Dark Knight.
Ventura also offers a standard selection of live casino games, including baccarat, blackjack and roulette. Some of the regular online table games you can play are baccarat, craps, Pai Gow, Pirate 21, pontoon, Super 7 blackjack and roulette. Overall, I’d have to say that the large selection of slots and other games is the best aspect to playing at this casino.
Download and Registration
You don’t have to download anything to play at Ventura because it’s an instant play casino. You can also play at Ventura through your Android/iOS smartphone or tablet. This is made immediately clear on the homepage, which shows a giant cruise ship with an ad prompting you to play “anytime, anywhere.” I doubt that you’d be playing online casino games much if you were on a cruise ship, but it sets up the vibe for a fun experience.
Registering for an account here isn’t too difficult because the process is divided into simple sections that include account, personal and address information. Do note, though, that you won’t be able to ply at Ventura if you’re from the US.
The large number of banking methods is a definite plus to Casino Ventura. Some of the different services that you can use include Neteller, Skrill, Visa, Mastercard, iDeal, PaySafe, DotPay, POLi, Sofort, Trustly, TrustPay, WebMoney and Moneta. Minimum deposits are only €10, while withdrawals require a €20 minimum and 0-48 hours of waiting time.
You can contact Casino Ventura through a variety of means, including email, live chat, phone, and even a handwritten letter to their Malta office. Like most online casinos, Ventura is pretty good at responding to players within a couple minutes or less.
Overall, I think that Casino Ventura is a nice spot to do your gaming. My favorite aspects of this casino include their large selection of games, clean interface, numerous banking options, favorable wagering requirements and ability to choose between two different welcome bonuses. A low volume of promotions and mildly difficult navigation are on downside. The latter two aspects are a bit annoying, however, I don’t think that they’re enough to turn me off from the many different slots and very favorable bonus wagering requirements.
