The London listed online and land betting group Leisure and Gaming plc has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Italian football club Unione Sportiva Città di Palermo which will see the brand of L&G subsidiary Betshop Italia achieving a higher profile.
Starting this (April) month, Palermo shirts will carry the logo of Betshop Italia, as will pitch-side advertising hoardings. The sponsorship agreement will continue until the end of the 2010/2011 league and will provide a number of joint marketing initiatives between Palermo and Betshop Italia.
