The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi tribe in Michigan, USA has ambitious plans for a land casino operation managed by Gaming Entertainment Michigan, but until that becomes a reality the venture is depending on a free Internet casino to build awareness and brand identity.
When FireKeepers Casino finally launches later this year, it’s presence will already have been established by its virtual sister, Firekeepers Casino.com, which offers free games to visitors.
The Nottawaseppi Huron Band has teamed with Gaming Entertainment Michigan in the enterprise, which is a joint venture of Full House Resorts Incorporated and RAM Entertainment.
“Our website offers more than just information,” said Bruce McKee, General Manager for FireKeepers Casino in a statement this week. “It’s a fun, interactive way to get introduced to the FireKeepers brand. The website also provides us with an opportunity to begin building a two-way relationship with our customers.”
Michael Facenda, Director Of Marketing for FireKeepers Casino, said that in addition to free games the new website is selling FireKeepers-branded merchandise.
