12bet signs sponsorship agreement with Badminton World Federation.

Isle of man-based but Asian-facing sports betting operator 12BET has announced that it is the official sponsorship partner of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) 2017 World Championships, which this year take place in Glasgow, Scotland between 21 -.27 August.

The championships are professional badminton’s most prestigious event, attracting leading players from around the world to the Emirates Arena in Glasgow to compete against the best in the game.

12BET said in a statement this week that it will benefit from wide exposure of its brand on international event broadcasts, media coverage and at the stadium

“We are delighted to add the BWF World Championships to our growing sports sponsorship portfolio; it is a huge event that will be broadcast in several of our key target markets,” 12BET spokesman Rory Anderson observed.

BWF secretary general Thomas Lund, said:

“This tournament is the highlight of the 2017 season, bringing together badminton’s most accomplished players. It will be watched keenly by millions globally and will offer significant worldwide exposure for the 12BET brand.”
