The UK Internet skill-game developer GameAccount has signed a licensing agreement with video game publisher Eidos Interactive to develop online person-to-person skill-based games based on three of Eidos’s game franchises; Championship Manager, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men and Battlestations: Pacific in non-US markets.
In a first move into branded games for the GameAccount Network, development, based on GameAccount’s ‘hi-lo’ game engine, is already underway for an online version of the popular soccer management simulation Championship Manager. This will be followed by an online translation of Kane & Lynch: Dead Men and a further online skill-game based on a new Eidos title, Battlestations: Pacific.
GameAccount’s Kane & Lynch and Battlestations: Pacific skill-based games will also feature sound effects, video animations and images from the original games as part of the licensing agreement.
Kevin Dale, GameAccount CEO said: “We’re very excited about the development and release of our games for these well known Eidos brands. These franchises already have a massive and loyal following and we hope to benefit from that brand recognition.”
The completed games will be offered to GameAccount International Network clients like William Hill, Sportingbet Europe, Stan James, BoyleSports, Paddy Power, Gala Coral, BlueSquare, Betfred and GamingVC.
