In a move that expands her business relationship with Gala Bingo, television celebrity and wife to former Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy, Sharon Osbourne has launched her own SharonsBingo.com website.
The move is in collaboration with Gala Bingo, a major force in UK bingo which claims 32 million admissions every year and a 40 percent market share in Britain. With over 6 million members, the bingo division of the Gala Coral gambling group pays out millions of pounds sterling in prizes every week.
“I’m so excited to have my very own bingo site,” said Osbourne, commenting on her decidedly feminine looking pink website. “The site has been created with my fans in mind, which players will hopefully love.”
A best-selling author and the star of the America’s Got Talent television show, Osbourne expands an already productive relationship with Gala in offering chat rooms and traditional game favourites such as 75 and 90-ball bingo along with a mix of side games including Footballer’s Wags, Pharaoh’s Chamber and Magic Potion on the new website.
“We’re delighted that Sharon Osbourne has decided to extend her relationship with us by launching her own bingo website,” said Clive Cottrell, Head of Marketing for Gala Coral Group’s Remote Gambling Division. “Sharon has proved immensely popular with our customers over the past two years so it seems a natural progression for her to have a dedicated website.”
Osbourne currently features on TV ads promoting Gala Bingo and also makes appearances on Gala’s TV channel. In the latest advert, produced by the Vallance, Carruthers, Coleman and Priest agency, Osbourne is shown being pampered by the pool. Enjoying her treatment she tells viewers how she enjoys playing Gala Bingo online with her friends, but then notices she has won and celebrates, inadvertently pushing the manicurist into the pool.
