With nine weeks still to go until the 8th Annual European iGaming Congress and Expo (EiG) opens its doors in Copenhagen, the organisers have announced that this year’s exhibition is already 10 percent larger than last year’s.
Companies such as Playtech, Betgenius and Cryptologic are already confirmed as lead and supporting sponsors for the must-attend event, which takes place 15-17 September 2009 at the Bella Center in Copenhagen.
One of the biggest changes to EiG this year is that the expo hall is adjacent to the conference rooms instead of being on separate floors, allowing a greater flow of traffic through the hall and for all coffee and networking events to be held with exhibitors.
Other new features include a more prominent networking bar hosted by Microgaming, which will provide the central meeting hub for everyone there; and topical roundtable sessions in the expo hall hosted by key industry experts for all attendees.
Organisers Claron Gaming say that attendees will see the widest range of suppliers yet, offering the latest products and solutions including white label and turnkey solutions, casino, poker, bingo, sports betting, branded content, jurisdictions, licensing, hosting, payment solutions, fraud prevention and live dealer solutions.
The World Poker Congress 2009 will be co-located with EiG this year. It is the only conference to examine and generate partnerships between live and online poker businesses. This partnership will further increase the large number of industry experts, speakers and affiliates that will be in Copenhagen, benefiting the audiences of both events.
Mark Walker, Global Head of Conferences at Clarion, comments: “The strong growth of EiG’s exhibition shows us a few things; the resilience and growth of the iGaming industry is not to be underestimated, EiG is heading to even bigger and better things as an unmissable calendar event, and all attendees will get more product insights, networking and fun for their money than ever before!”
