The Chinese new media mobile lottery operator VODone Limited has claimed some startlingly fast business development in its instant Internet broadcasting of lottery results and mobile lottery business, “Constant Lottery”.
The Hong Kong firm’s new business has caught the attention of Chinese lottery fans and netizens nationwide since its debut on 8 July 2009, it revealed this week, reporting that registered users have already soared over 500 000.
VODone’s creative concept on “Constant Lottery” has proved attractive to lottery fans due to its exclusive Internet live video programming on draws, with winning numbers and lottery results released every 10 minutes.
Supporters come from across the spectrum of Chinese society, the company claims, predicting a potential user base of 660 million mobile users and 380 million Chinese netizens for its offering.
VODone’s “Constant Lottery” business is approved and in cooperation with Heilongjiang Welfare Lottery Center, which is authorised by the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Civil Affairs and other relevant Chinese government authorities.
The company-developed technology, branded “Electronic Lottery Drawing System”, has been authenticated by an expert panel comprising professors from the State Key Laboratory of Information Security of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Harbin Engineering University. It ensures the safety and reliability of Constant Lottery, which in turn provides lottery entertainment and an important channel for Chinese welfare funding.
