Unibet’s experienced head of online marketing, Magnus Oldby, is to leave the group for pastures greener – specifically Bodog Europe – commencing duties as marketing manager in March 2010.
Oldby’s recruitment is one in a series of marketing posts currently being filled by the online gambling group to handle “three or four” major product additions to its portfolio as the group’s operations in Europe expand.
Oldby started his business career in 1999 with four and a half years as an investment portfolio manager at Skandia Banken, following this with a year as a key account manager at SEO company Jajja Communications.
He joined Unibet as online marketing manager for new markets in mid 2005, moving up to executive management level as regional manager for Southern Europe and ultimately to head up online marketing for the group, where he is responsible for planning and managing activities using a comprehensive range of marketing techniques and media.
