After months of press releases and hype, the partnership between land gambling company Caribbean Casino and Gaming Corporation and Kenilworth Systems appears to be coming to fruition, with the first successful test of live dealer roulette action streamed over the Internet from the Sousa Grand Casino in the Dominican Republic.
Kenilworth, which provides the technology element in the partnership, has completed the first month of a scheduled six-month test of the new software, which allows gamblers to play at online casinos using the live results from an actual casino.
The Kenilworth system permits online casinos to use a live feed directly from physical casino games, as if the player were in attendance, and live dealer action is thought by a number of industry people to be a growing and valuable trend.
Clearly encouraged by the success of its Dominican trials, Kenilworth is now seeking to partner with online casino operators internationally in order to lease its new product.
“The live in-progress roulette test…, viewed globally, has now passed the first month and thousands that have played at the table have proven that online gaming is a viable, profitable business,” said Kenilworth CEO Herbert Lindo.
