Latvia-based online gambling games developer CTXM has scored a significant industry coup in announcing that it has received an order for “an extensive suite of gambling applications” from the new online gambling operations of the giant Sega company.
Sega Games Ltd. is the wholly owned online gaming subsidiary of global entertainment leader Sega Corporation, and is licensed and regulated by the States of Alderney. It currently offers a variety of SEGA branded and other games in collaboration with Playtech following its online launch at last year’s EiG in Copenhagen .
The group owns and operates SEGACasino.com and SEGAPoker.com.
In the deal with CTXM, Sega will license an extensive suite of gambling applications from CTXM for use around the globe. The CTXM offering will include a broad spectrum of online casino games, including casino traditional games together with CTXM proprietary games. In addition, CTXM is developing branded slot version for one of SEGA’ s the most popular games “House of Dead”.
A SEGAGames spokesperson said, “Certainly, the extensive game offering is one of the main reasons we chose CTXM as our partner. This agreement is a logical extension to the SEGA strategy of providing our customers with the highest level of gaming experience. Also we appreciate the technological and functional advantages provided by our new partner.”
Udy Yosha, CEO of CTXM, said: “We are very proud to work with the founders of the gaming industry. Being a game developer ourselves, we believe that together with SEGAGames’ unique IP [intellectual propery] we will be able to add another dimension to their online games. We feel privileged to cooperate with SEGAGames Ltd in the development of their games.”
CTXM will integrate its iGaming integration platform XBase to the “SEGA Pass” e-commerce platform as part of the agreement. The benefit of the integration is that all SEGAGames’ co-branded CTXM online games will be available to any user having a SEGAPass account. XBase platform provides all essential tools for running an I-Gaming site, including games integration, full technology necessary for back-office administration, extensive marketing, user management and retention measurement tools.
