Online punters who are also Six Nations rugby fans in Europe have a new arcade-style game themed on the rugby spectacular available this week, with Paddy Power among the first to launch Rugby Reactors.
Coinciding with the start of the 2010 rugger clashes between leading rugby nations, the new game is fast paced and features the stars of Six Nations Rugby, including England’s prolific goal kicker and flyhalf Jonny Wilkinson and Captain Caveman himself, France’s gigantic flank Sebastien Chabal.
The aim of the game is to match up the rugby players in clusters in order to win cash. If a player matches 7 or more Martin Castrogeovannis he or she couild win a jackpot worth GBP 140 000.
In Rugby Reactors, the players are paid out for chains of animated rugby symbols. The symbols explode and cascade down to make room for more. Payouts vary between symbols, and the larger the chain, the bigger the payout.
Siobhan O’Donoghue of Paddy Power had some words for online rugger buggers: “We’ve always been fans of men with odd shaped balls and Rugby Reactors is our way of paying tribute to the hookers of Western Europe. We would encourage all of our customers to get behind their team of choice and enjoy the big tackles and hard rucks!”
