The relatively new London advertising agency Campbell Lace Beta has followed its success in picking up the Thomas Cook account earlier this week by winning a pitch against Publicis for the JackpotJoy Bingo account, a major online gambling company owned by Gamesys. The budget for the account was not disclosed but is believed to be substantial.
CLB will now work on creating multi media campaigns that encourage new players to visit the JackpotJoy Bingo site, raising awareness of the variety of games on offer.
Launched in 2002, JackpotJoy Bingo has become one of the leading online gambling sites in the UK, with the annual pay-out of winning bets now exceeding GBP 75 million. The company has launched several games based around well-known TV game shows such as Deal Or No Deal, The Price Is Right and Family Fortunes, to go alongside its regular bingo and casino games.
In recent months, Gamesys has also signalled its intention to enter the European market, with the launch of Juegatusuerte.com in Spain.
Founded by Garry Lace and Robert Campbell in April this year, CLB beat Euro RSCG London in securing the Thomas Cook travel account as its first client.
