The Latin American-facing sports betting operator and Gaming VC subsidiary Betboo will receive over 1 500 televised sports events every year following an agreement signed with digital sports group Perform this week.
The events will be presented via the white label live sports internet television service, WatchAndBetTV, also deployed by major betting companies like Ladbrokes, Unibet and Paddy Power.
Program content includes multiple live Internet television streams from a range of world sports including international football, European club football and ATP and Sony Ericsson WTA Tour Tennis.
“Our customers love live sport and to have so much live content on our website provides the duel benefits of providing fresh compelling content whilst driving revenues through in-play betting, which is a huge growth area for us,” Betboo chief executive Almir Ribeiro said.
WatchAndBetTV managing director Ross MacEacharn commented: “Broadband penetration in Latin America is growing exponentially and it is important for bookmakers to evolve and improve their product to keep up with their consumers’ demands and drive new revenue streams.”
