The Swedish and Malta-based online gambling software provider Net Entertainment has landed another juicy contract for its CasinoModule product in the Italian market.
Gioco Digitale, the major Italian subsidiary of Vienna-listed Bwin, is to use CasinoModule on the dedicated Italian sites of both Bwin and Gioco Digitale, which are claimed to command an Italian market share of 25 percent.
”The license agreement with Net Entertainment gives us access to a wide range of market leading casino games which is an important focus area for our continued growth”, said Paolo di Feo, General Director for Gioco Digitale this week.
Implementation will take place only after Italian regulator AAMS has given its approval and advised its minimum specifications, and Net Entertainment has signalled its intention to seek further business from Bwin.
Bwin Italia is already contracted to use 888 casino games following its agreement with b2b division Dragonfish earlier this month
The latest deal is the second in the Italian market for Net Entertainment, which signed up Italian group Microgame late last year for the CasinoModule product.
”We are delighted that Bwin has selected us as their strategic partner and wish them welcome as a customer,” said Johan Öhman,CEO for Net Entertainment. “The agreement means that Net Entertainment becomes the prime supplier of online casino software in Italy.”
