30 online gambling arrests in Vietnam

A police spokesman in Vietnam’s Tay Ninh City revealed Wednesday that a police anti-online gambling raid on an internet cafe had resulted in the arrest of 30 persons and the confiscation of 21 computer sets.

Officers from the provincial social crime prevention police raided Sky Win Cafe mid-afternoon Wednesday following reports that the illegal business attracted numerous gamblers every day.

Investigations continue.
