Sportingbet signs up to sponsor Pompey

Online gambling group Sportingbet.com will henceforth be the exclusive Internet betting partner for the English Premier League football team Portsmouth following an agreement signed this week.
The gambling group will provide all online betting and gaming related products for the football club’s official website, offering betting services to Portsmouth’s members database including in-play betting while also featuring on a comprehensive package of light-emitting diode (LED) perimeter advertising within the stadium alongside VIP hospitality services.

Sportingbet.com CEO Andy McIver revealed that football dominates his company’s business and represents 65 percent of its total sportsbetting revenues. The site accepts over 42 million football bets each year from over 500 000 people in 24 languages, he said.
