Bodog Europe has become the latest online betting company to join a growing list of football club sponsors, signing with Fulham FC in a three year sponsorship deal which makes Bodog the Barclays Premier League team’s exclusive official betting and gaming partner.
Keith McDonnell, Managing Director of Bodog Europe, commented, “We are absolutely thrilled to kick off what we are certain will become a long-standing partnership with Fulham. During our discussions, it quickly became apparent that we share an unquenchable passion for football, but also a deep commitment to the service and entertainment of our fans and customers. We think it’s a perfect fit.”
The sponsorship includes a significant branding presence at Fulham’s historic Craven Cottage stadium, LED perimeter advertising at home matches, inclusion in the club’s match day programmes and official publications, and a sponsorship presence on Fulham’s incredibly popular club site, www.fulhamfc.com.
Bodog Europe will also offer in-play and other betting services to Fulham’s member database and the viewing public who sign up through Bodog.co.uk.
Alistair Mackintosh, Chief Executive of Fulham Football Club, added, “Since our arrival in the Premier League in 2001, the Club has made significant strides on the field culminating in last season’s record finishing position of 7th. This new alliance with Bodog Europe reaffirms the Club’s ambitions off the field and I am therefore delighted to welcome Bodog Europe as Fulham FC’s Official Betting and Gaming Partner. I am excited at the prospect of developing a mutually successful relationship during this and coming seasons.”
Established in 1879, Fulham is London’s oldest first class club. Under the leadership of Chairman Mohamed Al Fayed, Fulham has just enjoyed its most successful season in its 130-year history and is looking to build on last season’s success.
Other recent sponsorship partnerships reported here Sportingbet and Portsmouth FC, Betfair and Manchester United and Asian-facing sportsbook 188Bet and Chelsea FC, along with an Aston Villa partnership deal.
