Interactive racecard launched

News on 10 Sep 2009

A British company has come up with the ingenious idea of an interactive racecard that empowers punters to boost their predictive capabilities by manipulating horse racing form.Racing UK’s online executive Simon Brydon says his company’s aim is for its iCard to become the ultimate information, form and betting guide, offering betters the most comprehensive racecard available.
The racecard, which will also be made available as a white label product for sportsbetting websites, lets punters toggle between four different form elements – win, place, going and jockey/trainer to arrive at a final outcome.
The data behind the predictions is based on PA Sport-supplied data from more than 9 000 races, and iCard also streams live and race replay footage from Racing UK, a website which has access to 30 of the UK’s leading racecourses.
