It’s been a week of management moves in the UK gambling industry, with financial director Simon Lane departing from William Hill plc and Gala Coral’s md for casino and bingo Simon Longbottom heading back to the leisure and entertainment industry.
More moves surfaced on Friday, when Ladbrokes confirmed that its sport and football director, Patrick Jay, had resigned to head out East where he will join the Hong Kong Jockey Club in a commercial management capacity early next year.
Jay has been with Laddies for the last five and a half years, working his way up from the post of general manager for sportsbook operations.
And rounding off the week, Friday saw an announcement from the Vancouver offices of online gambling testing company TST Global that commercial director Anna Sainsbury is on the move.
Another five year veteran, she will be entering the consultancy business after taking a short break.
