Search marketing firm Greenlight has released the results of its latest study of the UK Google positions regarding online casino companies, revealing that 888.com tops the ‘most searched’ list.
The statistics date from a study in September this year based on search terms such as ‘online casino’ and ‘online slots during that month.
Greenlight found that some 421 000 casino searches were made, with the active word ‘casino’ appearing in 32 percent of the enquiries. This was followed by ‘online casino’ in 18 percent; ‘online slots’ in 4 percent; ‘casino games’ in 4 percent and ‘internet casino’ in 3 percent.
The research company lists the top ten search results for September 2009 as:
888.com (50 percent)
Spin Palace.com (41 percent)
William Hill Casino.com (38 percent)
Casino.com (29 percent)
IMDB.com (29 percent)
Online Casino King.co.uk (28 percent)
Wikipedia.org (26 percent)
InterCasino.co.uk (20 percent)
Jackpot.co.uk (14 percent)
