The UK Gambling Commission plans to get he new year off to a flying start with some fresh numbers, promising to publish data from three omnibus surveys early in 2010 in addition to its quarterly data on remote gambling participation.
Plans include the publication of data on perceptions of gambling, including attitudes of the general public towards the fairness of gambling and its perceived association with criminal activity.
Survey data on remote gambling participation provides information on participation in remote forms of gambling. It sets out the findings from questions asked through an omnibus survey conducted by ICM Research. The annual data is published quarterly, based on an updated sample of 8 000 interviews.
