Asian online gambling site to sponsor UK football club

The Asian facing online gambling website Fun88.com is the latest foreign company to sponsor a British football club, inking a shirt sponsorship and advertising agreement with Burnley FC this week. Captain cooks casino
The multi-million-pound deal as described by club chairman Barry Kilby as a step forward in the continued growth and future of the club.
“We are delighted and proud to have secured Fun88 as our shirt sponsors for the 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 seasons,” Kilby said. “This deal is clear evidence of the global appeal of Burnley Football Club as a result of our Premier League status.” The club has been in talks with numerous companies since entering the Premiership, many of them international corporations, but the board felt that the Chinese gambling site was the best fit for the club.”
