The continuing furore over online casino operator group Grand Prive axing it’s US affiliates but keeping their players could have a solution in store, according to a progress report this week from the head of the Casino Affiliate Program.com community, Lou Fabiano.
Fabiano and his team have apparently been in direct discussions recently with Grand Prive/Villa Fortuna management in an effort to safeguard its affiliate members rights.
“We had another teleconference today with the [Grand Prive] owners and it appears there is a good possibility of making some headway on this serious issue,” Fabiano reported to his members earlier this week.
“Grand Prive asked that we inform everyone of the following:
“1. CAP will be their single point of contact on a resolution as they dont want to have a circus atmosphere during discussions.
“2. We are scheduled to meet the owners and senior management at CAP Euro London [in January 2009] to hammer out the final details that should make affiliates whole and allow everyone to move forward in a positive manner.
“3. They have asked that we keep details of the discussions private until a resolution is reached, so I can’t provide specific terms we are working out until after everything is finalized.”
Fabiano praised the efforts of the many affiliates who have participated actively in bringing home to Grand Prive the seriousness of the situation and motivating the online casino group to seek a fair solution.
