Online bookmaker 666Bet has partnered in a sponsorship agreement with Matchroom Boxing for Olympic gold medallist Anthony Joshua MBE’s first title fight against Dennis Bakhtov.
The WBC International Heavyweight title will take place as part of Matchroom’s ‘Moment of Truth’ event at London’s 02 Arena on Tuesday 11th October.
Under the terms of the deal, 666Bet will have their logo displayed in and around the ring, including on the centre canvas and the two fighter corner posts, as well as on all event artwork, backdrops and media day training rings.
Barry Martin, chief executive officer of 666Bet.com, said: “We’re extremely excited to bring fans Anthony Joshua’s first ever title fight, a match-up which could prove to be historic in the context of this young heavyweight prospect’s career.”
The fairly recently launched 666Bet also has a shirt sponsorship with Leyton Orient and is the official betting partner of both Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion (see previous reports).
