The London-based agency Hometown has been awarded the global advertising account for 888 Holdings online gambling group’s poker operations, Campaign Live reports.
The award was made after Hometown won a competitive pitching process, but the agency has previously worked for 888 on a number of projects. A spokesman said Thursday that work will immediately begin on a major online poker-focused campaign.
Other advertising agencies that have worked with 888 include Fold7, Grey and CHI & Partners; Fold7 continues to work with 888 on a project basis.
888 called a review of its UK media account in February but has yet to announce a result. The incumbents are Adconnection and All Response Media.
