888 is getting an early start to its US marketing, with the American branch of the online gambling company signing a key week-long Super Bowl promotional deal with the famous 50 Yard Lounge in New York.
Starting January 29 and running through February 2 the two companies will be providing entertainment – and generating lots of great publicity for themselves – between the hours of 10 am and 2 pm every day of the Super Bowl at the club’s luxurious premises neighbouring Madison Square Gardens.
888 is in partnership with major US land companies in its online gambling operations in newly legalised intrastate markets like Nevada, Delaware and New Jersey, and players are being offered the opportunity to win all-access 50 Yard Lounge passes to join the Super Tailgate celebrations, which include fun competitions with very desirable prizes
Commenting on the promotion, 888 chief executive Brian Mattingly said that his company intended to be part of top-ranking sports and other events in the United States epitomised by the 50 Yard Lounge Super Blow celebrations.
Lonny Sweet, an executive involved in the 50 Yard Lounge promotions and one of the creators of the famous venue, said the week-long football festival would be attended by a number of top celebrities, especially in the food and music field.
He named several top international chefs and television judges, along with a slew of legendary sportsmen who would be either participating in competitions or the fun.
”We’re going to provide a memorable experience that showcases some of the best chefs, athletes, and musical talent in the country during a week when all eyes are on New York,” he said.
