AAMS approval for Evolution

Live Dealer gaming firm, Evolution Gaming, has been certified by Italy’s gaming authority, AAMS to provide real-time, interactive Live Casino games.
The approval permits Evolution to stream Live Casino games such as Roulette, Blackjack and Baccarat, in TV quality, to the PC screens of Italian online players.
Several leading Italian gaming operators, including 888 and Microgame, are said to have already signed agreements with Evolution for the service scheduled to open for business in July 2011.
Jens von Bahr, CEO of Evolution Gaming, said: “The opening up and re-regulating of the Italian gaming market is hugely exciting for operators and their customers. This approval means players in Italy will soon have easy access to our world-leading Live Casino gaming via their PCs through a standard internet connection – with the ability to interact with the dealer and fellow players in real time. This online experience is as close as it gets to a visit to a real casino, and allows customers to take their seats at a live table when and where they choose.”
Evolution has committed to the Italian gaming market with the development of Venezia Roulette Live Casino which has been specifically developed for the Italian market and features experienced, native-speaking Italian dealers recruited from land based casinos.
In related news, Evolution announced the appointment of Gionata La Torre in the role of chief executive officer Italy.
La Torre has held senior roles in Havas Media, British Telecom and Telecom Italia.
