Adelson among the world’s wealthiest

The Forbes annual list of the world’s wealthiest people released this week shows that arch-online gambling foe Sheldon Adelson remains in the top twenty, positioned at number 20 with a fortune of $30.4 billion.

In gambling industry terms, it appears that Adelson rules the roost as the richest of the rich.

The Forbes list of over two thousand global billionaires is headed by Microsoft’s Bill Gates on $86 billion, and includes several gambling industry names that Our readers will probably recognise, including Pansy Ho (414th on the list with $4.2 billion); Carl Icahn (55th on $16.6 billion); Denise Coates (552nd on $3.6 billion); Lui Che Woo (109th on $12.1 billion); Johan Graff (194th on $7.2 billion); Teddy Sagi (630th on $3.1 billion); Angela Leong (427th on $4.1 billion); Mark Scheinberg (367th on $4.5 billion); James Packer (660th on $3 billion) and Han Chang-Woo (564th on $3.4 billion).
