African sports betting operator launches UK – facing online casino

Kenyan online sports betting operator Sportpesa, which is already being noticed for its EPL football sponsorship activity, has announced the launch of a new UK-facing online casino designed following consultation with the player community.

The new enterprise, which is powered by Microgaming, aims to offer players a comprehensive online gaming experience across a variety of different games from a safe, secure and convenient location.

The entire SportPesa website, including the sportsbook site, has been given a fresh new look and has been updated to provide a more sophisticated and betting environment, with improved navigation, functionality and aesthetics.

The site is supported by a blog providing the latest news and updates from both the casino and sportsbook worlds.

The HTML5-compatible casino is available instantly via web browser from desktop or Android, iOS or Windows mobile devices, offering streamlined gameplay on over 200 games while on the move.

SportPesa UK marketing manager Shaun Simmons said last week: “Over the past few months, we have taken customer feedback on board and worked tirelessly to deliver a product that we feel will stand tall in this market. Not only will our customers have access to a decent sportsbook, but we can now also provide them with a first-class casino offering.”

UK operations at Sportpesa are based in Liverpool, from whence the company has announced a series of football sponsorships in recent months, including deals with Everton, Southampton FC and Hull City Tigers.
