The Canadian online gambling content provider Amaya Gaming has followed its announcement of a content deal with Playboy Enterprises with the news that it launches virtual horse racing services for two Quebec land casinos today (Friday).
Following an agreement with the Société des Casinos du Québec signed last April, the company will launch its virtual horse racing system at Casino de Montréal and Casino du Lac-Leamy in Gatineau tonight at 8 p.m. (ET).
Darcy Krogh, Amaya’s VP of business development, said that the service would provide non-stop electronic racing action on the world’s best tracks 24 hours a day to patrons of the casinos.
“The Société des Casinos du Québec is recognised as an innovative casino operator and we’re pleased to help them create even more exciting gaming destinations,” he said.
“We believe these solutions fit perfectly with our strategy of continuously offering the latest and most exciting entertainment experiences,” said Luc Morin, director of new product development for the Société des Casinos du Québec.
Under the terms of the agreement, Amaya is providing its virtual horse racing system “Royal Grand Prix Derby” to the SCQ for placement in its various properties. The SCQ, a subsidiary of the Province of Quebec’s corporation Loto-Québec, is responsible for operating and developing Québec’s casinos, including casinos in Montréal, Charlevoix, Gatineau and Mont-Tremblant.
