News on 25 Feb 2014

Following shortly after the announcement of an agreement with Bonnier Gaming Malta (see previous report), Metric Gaming has sealed a deal with Latin-American operator Ocho Gaming.

Metric Gaming will initially provide its SuperLive products for Liga MX (Mexico) and Primera Division (Peru) as Ocho Gaming rolls out its online gaming platform across Latin and South America.

Additional regions, including emerging markets in Africa, will be served as Ocho Gaming and Metric Gaming expand their business relationship.

“In today’s world, people expect news and information to be available and accessible in real time, whether on a smartphone, mobile device or tablet.  SuperLive delivers a product that provides this and more with its sports wagering products,” said Jeff Cooper, chief executive officer of Ocho Global.  “Metric is uniquely positioned to help Ocho fulfill its goal of offering best in class products to its players in the multi-billion dollar mobile wagering marketplace.”

“We are very excited about the Ocho Gaming licensing deal and expect them to be a great long-term partner with significant growth potential for both parties,” added Martin De Knijff, chief executive officer of Metric Gaming. “We are particularly excited about our prospects in Ocho’s emerging markets, specifically Mexico, Peru and other areas in South America.”

Betsson, along with Bonnier Gaming Malta, has also agreed to distribute SuperLive™ which is based on push technology, built on HTML5 and optimised for mobile use.
