Apollobet official partner to Widnes Vikings

Relative newcomer to the online sportsbetting sector, ApolloBET has entered into a one-year sponsorship deal with the English professional rugby league club the Widnes Vikings.

Under the terms of the deal, ApolloBET has become the club’s official betting partner for the 2012 Super League season, enjoying exposure on the team’s new kit and pitch side advertising at the Stobart Stadium.  The firm will additionally launch and offer an exclusive online betting service for Vikings supporters.

ApolloBET launched in July this year and is co-owned by Widnes businessman Paul Antrobus, his son Steven, Leon Hosking and Chris Calderwood .

Vikings’ Chief Executive Julie Gaskell said; “ApolloBET is a local company who want to attract Viking Stronghold supporters to use their services and build a national brand, we look forward to working with them in the coming year.”

ApolloBET Director Leon Hosking added; “We are delighted to have secured sponsorship with Widnes Vikings for the up and coming 2012 season. It was an easy choice for us to sponsor Widnes as the club has a worldwide following and the supporters are amongst the most passionate in the game.”
