Australian gaming firm Aristocrat Leisure Limited presented strong results in its HY1 2015 report underpinned by a robust performance from its digital gaming business.
Key performance highlights for the six month period ending March 31, 2015 include:
Group net profit after tax of $110.1 million, a 66.8 percent increase in reported currency and a 45.9 percent increase in constant currency (HY1/2014: $66 million).
Revenue amounting to $685 million, grew by 73.5 percent (57.2 percent in constant currency) (HY1/2014: $394.7 million).
An increase in EBITDA of 121 percent to $243.4 million (HY1/2014: $110 million).
Operating cash flow increased over 66 percent to $101.4 million.
The group performance reflects the successful integration of VGT and ongoing operational improvement across key segments and markets, the company said.
“The six months to 31 March 2015 have been genuinely transformative for Aristocrat,” Jamie Odell, chief executive officer and managing director said.
“We have taken major steps forward in our product-led, share-taking strategy, asserted our focus on driving scale and profitability in critical recurring revenue segments and cleaned up remaining legacy distractions and non-core operations.
