The French regulatory authority of online gaming ARJEL has launched a multi-media awareness campaign educating consumers on the risks of playing with unlicenced sports betting, online poker and horse race betting operators.
An extension to the launch of a similar campaign in 2010, the initiative retains its humorous tone and will flight across radio, internet and print mediums using the strapline “You have everything to lose by betting on an unauthorised ARJEL website”.
The campaign deters players from playing on illegal sites and educates on legislation and public policy regarding the industry.
