The UK online and land gambling group Ladbrokes’ latest television advert “The Betting Men” (see previous reports) is to be the subject of an Advertising Standards Authority enquiry following over 80 complaints from the public over its alleged glamourising of gambling as an enhancement of personal qualities.
Ladbrokes has remained relatively tight-lipped on the news that an enquiry is to be launched, , merely reiterating an earlier comment that those who complained about the ad were lacking a sense of humour.
