Asian-facing online games developer XIN Gaming has announced the acquisition for an undisclosed consideration of online gambling software provider Tain and sister company, sportsbook supplier Betting Promotion. The two Swedish companies merged in 2013.
XIN managing director Matthias Larsson said in a statement Thursday that his company was attracted to Tain by its reputation as one of the most trustworthy B2B operators in online gaming, and because of the potential of its comprehensive and independent offering.
“This is a milestone for XIN Gaming, as this acquisition moves us up to the next level within the sector,” he said. “Tain is not just a very good platform, it is also one of the most established brands in the online market. This heritage is important as we believe it builds trust.
“Most suppliers out there only have their own platform, and their reliance on third-party providers means they can’t offer competitive pricing to clients. However, Tain has a complete in-house offering and can therefore offer low prices to operators.
“Tain offers best-of-breed third-party content on its platform from providers such as NetEnt and Evolution, and will now also now integrate slot games from XIN Gaming and Live Dealer from Asia Gaming, making these products available to European operators.”
Tain offers technology suitable for online sportsbook, betting exchange, casino, poker and bingo games.
Its clients range from start-ups to major industry operators, and it additionally offers a feature-rich payment gateway solution. Meanwhile the Tain Commons Platform ties together an operator’s entire range of gaming products into a single management interface.
