Digital sports media company PERFORM has announced the launch of Singapore and Malaysian editions of its football website Goal.com.
The group has appointed iHub Media subsidiary Interactive Hub to manage advertising sales for all its sports media across key territories in Asia. The deal includes Interactive Hub’s representation of the company’s sports video network ePlayer as well as other sports sites in PERFORM’s portfolio.
The new Singapore and Malaysia editions of Goal.com will feature in-depth coverage of local and international football news from around the globe accompanied by a Goal.com mobile application which will be made available across all major mobile operating platforms.
Goal.com has a strong Asian following with over seven and half million monthly unique users and 99 million page views said PERFORM, and joins its other Asian editions for Indonesia, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong and China.
Tim Holland, PERFORM Asia’s managing director commented: “As football is one of the most popular sports in Singapore and Malaysia, we believe that there will be a huge demand for a localised edition in these two countries. We’re also excited to announce our partnership with Interactive Hub. They have a good grasp of the Asian market with great contacts and we look forward to them attracting some leading brands to the Goal.com site.”
