Two years after achieving online gambling licensed status from Cambodia, Asian-facing and Australian-listed land casino operator Donaco has finally launched online operations.
On Thursday CEO Joey Lim announced that the company’s Star Vegas online operation was live on websites Dnalive666.com and Dnacasino.com, offering the public live dealer casino and sportsbook action backed by full multi-language support services and facilities for financial transactions in multiple currencies.
Both desktop and mobile punters are catered for by the sites, which are managed and marketed on a contract basis by Vivo Tower Ltd., which will receive a cut of the revenue generated.
Lim spoke about Donaco’s latest performance numbers on Thursday, revealing that over the twelve months ended June 30 the company incurred statutory losses of A$ 124.5 million, caused mainly by a long-running and on-going legal action against a former Thai associate.
Revenues plunged by a third to A$92.6 million, and earnings declined 35 percent to A$42.4 million, with net profit after tax down two-thirds at A$18.3 million.
