Astra Gaming assumes Novomatic UK identity

Austrian Gaming Industries GmbH subsidiary Astra Gaming Group (AGG) has assumed a new identity as NOVOMATIC UK.

NOVOMATIC UK will operate as a holding company for Empire Games, Extreme Live Gaming, Gamester, Greentube, Luxury Leisure, RLMS Sales, Bell-Fruit Games, Astra Games and Mazooma Interactive Gaming.

The identity will operate from new headquarters in Brentford, London that will include live dealer studio premises for its Extreme Live Gaming product.

Although Astra Gaming Group’s change in identity will allow the company to draw off Novomatic’s reputation and core strengths, the company statement emphasised that its “business as usual”.

“The Astra Gaming Group brand has served its purpose well as a means of integrating the NOVOMATIC Group into the UK gaming space,” commented Group chief executive officer Zane Mersich.

“With that integration now complete, we are able to focus our efforts more effectively on taking the Group business forward under the auspices of the globally renowned NOVOMATIC brand.”
