The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE) revealed a 3 percent drop in Atlantic City casino industry revenues for the month of April, but a double-digit rise in internet gambling revenues.
Internet gambling showed growth of 11 percent to almost $12.7 million during the month, but online poker continued its decline by 23 percent compared to April 2014 and 9 percent on March 2015 figures.
Terrestrial slot and table game operations from the remaining eight casinos reported revenues of $199 million, down 3 percent compared to the same period last year and 16 percent if the four shuttered casinos are included.
Golden Nugget saw a revenue increase of almost 30 percent, while Caesars slumped 11 percent compared to the April 2014.
