Australian self-regulatory national advertising association AANA is asking for input into the development of a Wagering Advertising and Marketing Code (the Code) which will ultimately provide the Australian public with an accessible, transparent complaints procedure facilitated by the Advertising Standards Board (ASB).
The Code “would provide a robust self-regulation framework for advertising and marketing communication using any medium by licensed providers of wagering services”, AANA said.
AANA invites interested parties to download the discussion paper and submit responses by Friday, December 18, 2015.
