Kindred Group online betting subsidiary Unibet has extended its presence in the Australian sports betting market by signing a two-year sponsorship deal with Australian motor-racing series the Supercars Championship.
The deal kicks in this weekend, with Unibet becoming the official betting and wagering partner of the series, and benefitting from on-track signage and other joint promotional and incentive initiatives. Both organisations have confirmed that there will be a heavy emphasis on digital promotional activity.
Supercars managing director Matt Braid said in a statement on the deal:
“The high quality, intense competition of our sport delivers excitement to millions of passionate fans which make Supercars the ideal partner for Unibet.”
Julian Timmins, head of marketing and operations at Unibet, added: “We see Supercars as a fantastic platform to engage with and inform punters.”
