Aussie pokie machine maker against online gambling

In an interview with the Australian publication Channel Nine Financial Review Sunday, pokie machine manufacturer Len Ainsworth said he is opposed to online gambling, despite it being seen by other industry execs as a major growth opportunity.

The founder and chairman of poker machine manufacturer Ainsworth Game Technology described the emergence of online gambling as “dangerous” in the interview.

“Online gaming is a train wreck waiting to happen and I think to have a situation where people can sit at home and gamble, I think it’s a very dangerous situation,” Ainsworth said.
