Innovative games design studio AvatarUX is poised to enjoy a commercially significant year, kickstarted by the signing of two Asian distribution agreements.
By partnering with Hub88 and Azure Tech, the games provider will significantly expand its reach across numerous markets, giving more players than ever before access to its suite of immersive slots, headlined by the hugely successful title CherryPop™.
2021 will also see the studio release five new titles with new features, all incorporating the hugely popular PopWins™ mechanic, which sees winning combinations pop, with each pop creating two new symbols, leading to increased chances of multiple wins. The power of PopWins™ can expand the rows of a slot from four to seven, increasing the ways to win from 243 to 33,614.
This year also marks the first time that AvatarUX will make available the possibility to license its proprietary technology, allowing other studios to purchase the right to use its PopWins™ mechanic.
A partner studio of Yggdrasil’s YG Masters program, the provider continues their partnership with Yggdrasil and prides itself on taking things to the next level by means of its immersive gameplay and cutting-edge designed games.
Marcus Honney, Managing Director at AvatarUX, said: “2020 saw several highlights for us with the launches of our successful PopWins™ titles, including huge hit CherryPop™, and our biggest ever win when we released BountyPop™, with one lucky player winning SEK1.7m.
“It has given us a fantastic foundation to build on as we look to reach new heights and we have already started 2021 with two great distribution agreements that will see us expand our reach towards Asian operators. It is a thrilling time for AvatarUX with a significant amount of work in the pipeline and we are very excited for the year ahead.”
Vladimir Negine, Director at Hub88.io, said: “We are always on the search for innovative and original casino content and AvatarUX absolutely delivers on that front. We expect these titles to resonate particularly well with players at Hub88’s operators across Asia as both the design and unique game mechanics are extremely well suited to the region. We see AvatarUX as an important partner for Hub88 going forward.”
Cora Chen at Azure Tech added: “We are delighted to have partnered with AvatarUX whose innovative game mechanics and Asian-inspired games stick out and we can’t wait to showcase more of their games to the Yggdrasil fans and other players in Asia. This deal with AvatarUX extends our wide-ranging pipeline for the year.”
