The eSports division of Eastern and Central European online and land gambling giant Fortuna Entertainment is to enhance its offering by adding audio visual streamed content from Sportradar.
Fortuna Esports signed a multi-year deal with Sportradar this week through which the latter company will act as the exclusive global provider of betting and audio visual streams and transmissions for Fortuna syndicated matches and competitions.
One of Europe’s leading eSports tournament organisers, Fortuna hosts events such as the new ‘Esports Balkan League’, which offers a total prize pool of Euro 23,000 – arguably the largest in the region.
Fortuna Esports CEO Mihajlo Jovanović Dzaril says the Sportradar enhancement represents good timing, with the imminent launch of the all-new Balkan League:
“This is a ground-breaking partnership for us in what is a very exciting time at Fortuna as we get set to launch the Balkan League. Sportradar’s streaming, data and integrity services will offer crucial support in our efforts to promote the best professional players from our region whilst providing enthusiasts worldwide a truly enjoyable and credible esports experience,” he said.
Fortuna Esports will also benefit from monitoring by Sportradar’s Fraud and Integrity division, which has the capability to monitor global betting activity across eSports competitions.
