Putting speculation to bed, ACEP interactive, the iGaming arm of American Casino & Entertainment Properties (ACEP), has entered into an agreement with Bally Technologies who will provide ACEP and its terrestrial casino properties with an iGaming platform following the award of an interactive gaming operator licence from the Nevada Gaming Commission .
ACEP properties comprise the Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower, Aquarius Resort and Casino, and the two Arizona Charlie’s casinos.
“We are excited about the opportunity to partner with a premier gaming operation and a globally recognized brand like the Stratosphere,” said Bally Technologies’ vice president of business development John Connelly. “What makes this even more significant is the fact that ACEP is located in Nevada, one of the only approved and regulated markets within the United States.”
ACEP chief executive officer, Frank Riolo confirmed the establishment of a play-for-free poker site by year end allowing the company to instantly launch real money play once permitted.
Earlier this year, Bally Technologies became the first company licensed in the United States as an interactive gaming system manufacturer and service provider.
