IT solutions and software engineering service provider ComTrade have partnered with Bally Technologies (Bally) in a technology development agreement that will assist Bally Interactive in realising its strategy of becoming a major player within the online gaming sector.
ComTrade will provide its online development services to expedite the conversion of Bally’s land-based slot portfolio to the online gaming environment.
Aleš Gornjec, director of gaming at ComTrade said: “Bally Technologies is a well respected industry player with a history in landbased gaming that dates back to 1932. This just goes to show that the gap is closing between the online and land based industries. We believe that ComTrade’s experience and development strengths will accelerate Bally’s growth in the iGaming space, and we look forward to developing this relationship further.”
“Bally is highly selective in our technology partners and Comtrade became the clear choice among the options we explored,” commented John Connelly, vice president of Business Development for Bally Technologies. “Their world-class experience in IT systems, their previous work with numerous top tier online providers, along with their deep pool of over 1000 engineering resources make them an ideal partner to work with for Bally Technologies. We look forward a long term relationship with them”.
