Online gaming software supplier Bede Gaming has been awarded ISO 27001 certification by the International Standards Organization (ISO) referencing secure platform provision for operators in global regulated markets.
ISO 27001, which is the international standard for information security, was awarded to Bede Gaming following a comprehensive and complete audit in which its platform met ISO’s stringent requirements in terms of information security.
The independently assessed certification further demonstrates the company is prepared for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) becoming law in May 2018, which places a greater level of accountability on data processors on issues such as information security breaches, the company said.
“Gaining this certification isn’t an easy process and requires a huge amount of focus from all aspects of our business,” Michael Brady, chief executive officer of Bede Gaming, explained.
“Operators today want flexibility in their platform, but they are also demanding peace of mind via the highest possible levels of security and this shows that we are leading the way when it comes to providing a credible, secure and trustworthy alternative.”
